Maintaining consistent salinity readings is crucial for reef tanks, but microbubbles, debris, and detritus can interfere with probes. The SPS Kit solves this problem by creating steady water movement and constant pressure around your probe, ensuring reliable readings every time.

This kit also shields the probe from bubbles and debris. In the event a bubble enters, the SPS Kit’s constant flow design flushes it away, allowing the reading to quickly stabilize.

Basic Installation

1. Support the Pressure Screen (B) and carefully insert the probe (F) through the top of the SPS Kit Housing (A).

2. Push the probe in until it stops against the Pressure Screen.

3. Connect the 1/4in supply line (E) to the push fitting (D).

4. Connect the other end of the supply line to your flow source.

Initial Setup

1. Place the probe with the SPS Kit installed into the water and turn on the flow source.

2. Gently shake the assembly up and down to dislodge any trapped air bubbles.

3. Cover the opening at the bottom of the SPS Kit with your finger briefly to expel remaining air or bubbles.

4. Allow a settling period of a few minutes up to an hour. Once settled, readings will stabilize, showing a steady trend line.
