Rotala sp Colorata.  This fast growing stem plant displays narrow, densely set leaves with rounded tips that are bright pink to red in colour when ideal conditions are met. Rotala sp Colorata sends out shoots regularly, and with frequent trimming and replanting of tops will quickly fill out an aquarium mid-ground with a dense and colourful hedge.  It is easy to grow, requiring moderate to intense lighting, regular fertilisation and CO2 injection to achieve its most vibrant colours.
